Argon Oil At The 99cent Store?!

We all know that argan oil has been a huge trend for hair in the last few years. And I have been thinking of try some but I’m one of those people that really doesn't put a lots of products on my hair except for an anti frizz cream.

Anyways, I saw this Argan Oil from VIA Natural (1.5 fl oz.) I got from the 99cent Store and decided to try it out. Let me tell you, even though the price was $1 this stuff works. It leaves your hair silky, smooth and soft. A little goes a long way. Love it. Just may look for a bigger bottle.

New Year's Nail Design

Decide to do a New Year’s nail design but I didn't want to do something that was going to take all day to do and chip within hours. So this is what I did, nothing fancy but I love it.

 

First I painted all my nail with NYC “Black Lace Cream” let that dry. Then I use China Glaze “Glitter All The Way” with is just green, gold, purple and a little red glitter. I put the glitter on the cuticle part only. On my ring finger I drew a champagne glass with a gold nail art pen from Sassy+Chic. (Loving this pen).

I went back and forth on the idea of painting my nails for the holidays and what to paint. One because I was going to be in the kitchen all day, which meant I was going to be washing my hands a lot too. By the end of the day I decide not to do anything fancy and just paint them normally. Now my next problem was which color, glitter or not, red, green or silver? So I finally chose to go simple.

I decided to use NYC's "Broadway Burgundy Frost" with is a red polish with fine red glitter. Great for Christmas. This polish remind me of China Glaze Rudy Pumps.

Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish

I finally got my hands on the most popular polish in the Parfumerie Collection “Wintermint”. I’m not one to jump on the ban wagon but this color is like something I haven’t seen before and the price was some what great $4.47. I also heard that this one is a dupe for Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream that cost about $19 a bottle. 

Wintermint is a sheer mint color with fine silver glitter and  blue chunky glitter. The scent is of course winter mint. As soon as I open the bottle I could smell it. Thinking of getting more.

New Shoe For Christmas

For this Christmas I got some cute sneakers. Which I so needed cuz my other ones are getting way old. 

They are from the brand Champion and in a neon pink with lime green detail. I know how funky but a gift is a gift.

They are light which I love cuz I don't like shoes that are too heavy, they tire my feet out. 

Make Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha at Home

This year I decided to save some money and make Peppermint White Chocolate mocha at home, because a few trips a week to #Starbucks or #McDonalds can get a little expensive. Looking at some videos on #Youtube I saw the same recipe over and over. It’s a very easy recipe. And because of this bar I cut the ingredients for 3 to only 2. I found this peppermint bark bar at the Dollar Tree. It’s a white candy peppermint crunch bar great for this recipe.

This is a 4.5 oz bark bar and can make 8 peppermint mochas. Yay!!!

Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha recipe:

Brew or use instant coffee and brake a square into pieces and let them melt in the hot coffee. Add sugar to taste cuz this candy is more mint flavor than sugar. Put whip cream and crush mint candy on top and enjoy.

Nail Polish Thinner

So I finally decided to invest in some nail polish thinner. For someone who has tons of polishes, you need to get thinner to make your polishes last as long as possible. I choose to get "Beauty Secrets" from Sally Beauty Supply store. It's a 4 fl. oz. bottle that cost $4.29. It may not look like a big bottle but all you need is like 3-4 drops. This bottle is going to last me a long time.

Crystal Light Energy Drink Mix

On one of my many shopping trips, I came upon these "Crystal Light' drink mix. In a way am a sucker for any drink that says "energy" because sometimes I leak energy and would love to find a drink that can fuel me up.

They only had two flavors Citrus and Peach Mango. They have energy releasing B vitamins. They remind me of those vitaminwaters but a little cheaper. They do give you a little energy bust. The flavor is not too sweet and it’s not water down. Can’t wait to see what other flavors they have.

Citrus of course is a little bit sour but nothing crazy.

Winter Nail Design

Decided to try one of my new nail art stamping plates from bornprettystore.com to create a winter nail design. I did an ombre to half the nail with a light blue then painted the whole with a iridescent glitter. After they dry I stamp on some snowflakes from the born pretty store stamping plate QA58. Wish the flakes where more visible but I still like it.

Influenster Rose VoxBox

Got an email from influenter.com saying that I was chosen to received the Rose VoxBox, so of course I couldn't wait to see the goodies they had send. Well...the box toke about 3 weeks longer to get to me (post office problems).

China Glaze Polishes at Ross

Doing some Christmas shopping at Ross, I found some China Glaze polishes trio packs for only $6.99. I only saw one set that I really like. Good thing cuz my nail polish addiction has gotten a little out of control, lol. 

When Stars Collide (Holographic Collection) is a dark plum color.

The Ten Man (Wizard of Ooh Ahz Collection) is a sheer silver with  silver glitter.

Seashell is a light peach cream color.

CVS 75% off...

Waiting for my ride to arrive , I decide to steep in to CVS and get out of the cold. Looking around I noticed that a bunch of nail polishes were on sale for 50% off or 75% off. So of course I had to pick some up. Believe it or not I only brought 2, may go back again, lol! The polishes are from Revlon ColorStay and cost me only $2.07 each, I sale over $6. Wow!!!!

“Rain Forest”  is a hunter green with light green glitter.

I've had my eye on this one since it was release but I was not pay $7 or more for it. 

“French Toast” is a brown color with fuchsia and blue fine glitters.

Bath and Body Works 3 for $6!!

Last month I went to Bath and Body to check if the winter scents had come in get. Well they did but my favorite scent was discontinued (Bad BBW, bad). Before I left I saw that they were having a sale on the travel sizes. Buy 3 for only $6 which was an amazing deal because one travel size product cost $6. So I got all 3 in my other favorite scent from BBW “Be Enchanted”. I smells AMAZING!!!

FREE Item from BBW!!

Last month I got the best thing from Bath and Body… a coupon for a FREE full size lotion or shower gel. The arrival of this coupon came on the best time. I’ve been waiting for a specific scent all year long but this year I discover that my scent was discontinued :-o. I wasn’t going to let this coupon go to waste so decide to give the other winter scents a try. I chose “Winter Apple”  which is a sweet scent. I think is smells a little like “Country Apple”
